What do you love most about teaching and living in Dubai
I love the weather and the lifestyle. There’s always something to do whether it’s relaxing by a pool/beach or going to nice bars/ restaurants.
What are the main differences between teaching in the UK and teaching in Dubai?
Teaching in Dubai allows you to experience new cultures and backgrounds which isn’t always the case in the UK. The salaries are also higher here in Dubai, thanks to it being tax-free. The school facilities are of a much higher standard here, they really invest in the schools and resources which makes a nice change.
What has been the highlight of working and living in Dubai?
The highlight of working and living in Dubai is the quality of life. I love having the option of having an exciting social life and living in a place which is unique and safe. There really isn’t anywhere in the world like Dubai. To see it is to believe it. In the UK I often felt that there wasn’t a work/play balance, the pressure and work load really takes its toll on you.
What would you say to other teachers who are considering moving to Dubai?
I would say that if you love to travel and meet new people and experience new things that it is an amazing opportunity that shouldn’t be missed. Don’t think twice!
What are some of the benefits of living in Dubai?

What are some of the advantages and best things about teaching in Dubai in comparison to the UK
The advantages are the salary is higher than in the UK . You also get more holidays teaching in Dubai than in UK because of religious and public holidays. The working hours are also shorter here.
